In our previous post, we introduced the power of NLP and starting discussing how this works.
In short, NLP uses your own attitudes to promote change and to increase your expectations.
Just like placebos (sugar pills) work in clinical studies, when your mind becomes hopeful about weight loss, you succeed. But when hope is lost in the face of your past struggles with overeating and weight control, you lose your convictions, so your battered subconscious takes over and you simply quit trying.
With NLP, you become aware of your own unique abilities.
It helps you think – and do things – differently, by recognizing that your mind is a powerful computer that can transport you to just the place where you want to be – or keep you from getting there.
Remember that cheeseburger… the one you craved before using NLP?
Now after NLP, you’ll easily use the power of your own thoughts to change your behavior and achieve a different result, exactly the result you’re after.
The cheeseburger doesn’t even sound good anymore. , and that vegetable platter is just what you crave. (Check out our founder’s real-life weight loss story here.)

NLP is a very powerful set of techniques and technologies. Really though in layman’s terms it is the art and science of communication.
And to get a real good idea about it…NLP is the study of how the language of the mind affects the nervous system.
I have put together a teleseminar series I think you and your readers would really enjoy. We have gathered some of the greats in NLP and interview them each week about different topics.
